Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
There is no fiscal impact related to this action; however, changes in the County Maintained Mileage System will impact the Transportation's future maintenance budgets.
Reason for Recommendation
Updates to the County Maintained Mileage System and the Board of Supervisors Resolution adopting those updates are submitted by Transportation to the State of California each year, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code, Section 941 and Section 2121. In 2012, one (1) road was deleted from the Maintained Mileage System with a mileage of .09 miles and minor revisions were made to two (2) roads with no change in mileage as detailed in Attachment A of the Resolution.
Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
1) Update the County of El Dorado Maintained Mileage System records.
2) Submit the Board adopted Resolution to Caltrans for Mileage Certification and Map Revisions.
