Background
Health and Human Services Agency ("HHSA") has successfully contracted with Pharmpak for several years on an "as needed" basis for the purchase of repackaged pharmaceutical drugs from Contractor's Master Formulary; the repackaging of bulk pharmaceutical drugs provided by County and labeled to its specification pursuant to Federal regulations and in compliance with California Pharmacy law; and providing over-the-counter medications, diagnostic kits, and devices as requested by the County.

Reason for Recommendation
The Health and Human Services Agency recommends approval of perpetual Agreement for Services 012-S1411 to ensure continued access to "as needed" over-the-counter medications, diagnostic kits, and devices and repackaging of pharmaceuticals for treatment or prevention of communicable disease by HHSA.
