Laurence Crabtree was selected to be the Forest Supervisor of the Eldorado National Forest following the retirement of Kathy Hardy on June 14, 2013.

Prior to his selection, Laurence Crabtree was the Deputy Forest Supervisor of the Plumas National Forest.  His earlier leadership responsibilities included serving as District Ranger for two separate ranger districts in the Modoc National Forest, and as District Ranger for two Forest Service ranger districts in Nevada.
