There is no change to net County cost. Funds are programmed in the CIP for FY 14/15 and will be included in the FY 14/15 Proposed Budget.

Background
Section 182.6(g) of the Streets and Highways Code authorizes the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) to exchange the assigned Federal apportionments made available to TRPA under the “Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient, Transportation Equity Act - A Legacy for users” (SAFETEA-LU), Regional Surface Transportation Program (RSTP), for nonfederal State Highway Account funds. Through Agreement numbers: X12-6125(028) and X13-6125(029)] pursuant to Section 182.6 of the Streets and Highways Code, between Caltrans and TRPA, these funds have been exchanged for a like amount of State funds.
