Background
The 34th Annual “Apple Hill Harvest Run” Event is sponsored by the Camino School Parents' Club and the Apple Hill Growers' Association. The Harvest Run will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013, between 7:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., and will start and finish at the Para Vi Winery. The sponsors have requested the road closures as follows:
Full Closure:
- Larsen Drive btwn North Canyon & Cable Road ........... (8:50 am-10:15 am)
- Larsen Drive btwn North Canyon & Carson Rd. .......... (7:00 am-11:15 am)
One Lane Closure:
- Barkley Road (EB) btwn Larsen Dr. & Carson Rd. ....... (8:50 am-10:30 am)
- Cable Road (NB) btwn Larsen Dr. & Carson Rd. ......... (9:00 am- 9:50 am)
- D Street (NB) btwn Carson Rd. & 2nd Street .............. (8:55 am- 9:30 am)
- 2nd Street (EB) btwn D Street & Larsen Drive ............. (8:55 am- 9:30 am)
- Carson Rd. (WB) btwn Barkley Rd & North Canyon .. (8:40 am-10:00 am)

Reason for Recommendation
The Transportation Division is recommending Board approval of the road closures to provide for the safety of participants, volunteers and spectators along the course, and to assist in the success of this community event. Other involved agencies have made no objections to this closure.
