Background
In November 2010, the Board approved a recommendation from the Sheriff's Office and Probation Department to enter into an agreement with Tri-Signal Integration, Inc., to conduct annual fire/life safety test and inspections, as well as annual testing and inspection of the Closed Circuit Television TV Video Surveillance, Intercom and Electronic Door Control systems for a 3-year period that ends on October 31, 2013.
The Sheriff's Office and Probation Department are requesting your Board to approve this recommendation to have Tri-Signal Integration, Inc., continue with servicing the South Lake Tahoe Jail and Juvenile Treatment Center's fire and CCTV and Intercom and Electronic Door Systems.
Reason for Recommendation
Approval of this recommendation will ensure that the Sheriff's South Lake Tahoe Jail and the Probation Department's Juvenile Treatment Center continue to have testing and repair of their security and fire systems.
Action(s) to be taken following Board approval
Following the Chairman signing the agreement with Tri-Signal Integration, the Board Clerk to return all originals to the Sheriff's Office for distribution.
