Pollock Pines is represented by three members of the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors; Supervisors Veerkamp, Nutting, and Santiago. Certificates were presented at the annual CEDAPP, "The Stars Come Out", awards ceremony and are always a surprise to the recipients. This year, certificates for Best Customer Service -Business went to Safeway Market, Umpqua Bank, Riebes Auto Parts; the Economic Development Award to Cathy Staller and Derrell Roberts, CPA; and, Best Community Advocate was awarded to the Mountain Democrat.
The certificates are signed in advance and presented that evening to maintain the surprise.
