Body
Background
On October 1, 2013, the Board directed staff to temporarily reduce some building permit fees to facilitate economic development and encourage public safety.  The following project types were identified to qualify for this temporary fee reduction:  Garages, Granny Flats, Decks, Additions and Remodels.

Building permit fees are implemented through Board of Supervisors Resolution 180-2007.  In order to implement a fee reduction, the simplest approach is to amend Resolution 180-2007.  The attached Resolution would amend 180-2007 to reduce fees on Garages, Granny Flats, Decks, Additions and Remodels for a period of two years from the effective date of the Resolution.

This Resolution shall take effect sixty (60) days from adoption.
