Background
On January 25, 2012, the Purchasing Agent executed agreement 332-S1210 with Dunn Environmental, Inc., for a one (1) year term with a not to exceed amount of $45,800 to provide landfill gas field monitoring and reporting for the Meyers Landfill. The County is required to perform this work pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Partial Consent Decree (PCD) entered into and signed by the County of El Dorado and the USA/USDA (US Forest Service), and pursuant to the Operation, Maintenance and Monitoring Plan (OMMP) for the Meyers Landfill.

On March 29, 2012, the Purchasing Agent executed the First Amendment to the Agreement revising the Scope of Services to include landfill gas probe network verification, laboratory sampling and analysis for creation of a Quality Assurance Project Plan for the Meyers Landfill to be submitted to the US Forest Service.

On January 29, 2013, the Board approved the Second Amendment to the Agreement extending the term for two (2) additional years, with an expiration date of January 28, 2015, and increasing the compensation by $100,450, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $146,250.

On August 12, 2013, Dunn Environmental, Inc. was acquired by Nolte Associates, Inc. resulting in this Third Amendment to the Agreement.

Reason for Recommendation
