Fair Manager recommending the Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign the 2014 El Dorado County Fair Budget with total operating expenses in the amount of $1,086,539 as previously approved by the El Dorado County Fair Board of Directors at their December 4, 2013 meeting.
FUNDING: No county funds are included in the Fair Association budget.

Background
At the March 29, 2005 meeting the Board of Supervisors entered into an agreement with the El Dorado County Fair Association, Inc., a general non-profit corporation for continued management of the County Fair for a term of five years with automatic annual renewals. (Attachment B)
Reason for Recommendation
Section 16 of the agreement requires the Fair Association to present their budget to the Board of Supervisors for approval, showing estimated revenues and the proposed expenditures from all sources during the ensuing calendar year, and that no funds shall be expended by such the Association except pursuant to the budget.
Action following Board approval
Clerk of the Board to submit signed original of the Fair budget to the Fair Association.
