There is no fiscal impact or change to Net County Cost associated with this agenda item.

Reason for Recommendation
Jaime Briseno, owner of Royal Six Tattoo, contacted the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) stating he along with Kelley Rogers, owner of Hangtown Skate Shop, wanted to conduct toy drives in the community, and asked if HHSA would accept the donations for distribution to children served by Child Welfare Services who wouldn't otherwise receive presents at Christmas.

Women in for Fun Friendship Service (WIFFS) organizes a pajama drive every year within the Auburn Lake Trails community.  This year, WIFFS collected 175 pairs of pajamas and donated them to HHSA for distribution to children served by Child Welfare Services.

HHSA is honored to be selected for these donations and is asking the Board to authorize the Chair to sign the attached letters thanking Royal Six Tattoos, Hangtown Skate Shop and WIFFS for their donations.

Clerk of the Board Follow Up Actions
1. The Clerk of the Board to obtain the Chair's signature on the two sets of original thank you letters.
2. The Clerk of the Board to forward one set of original thank you letters to the Agency for further processing.
