The original lease was for a one (1) year term with two (2) one (1) year options to extend. At the end of the expiration of the lease, the owners of PLA moved to a month to month lease arrangement. The owners of PLA made a business decision to no longer operate the skateboard shop. The county executed a new lease agreement with Kelley Rogers, doing business as Hangtown Skate Shop on July 2, 2012 to maintain the supervision and operations of the skate park (Legistar File 12-0760). The lease allowed for a one (1) year term with options to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year terms.
