BACKGROUND
At their regular meeting of February 11, 2014 (Item 32), the Board directed the following in the form of a motion:
A motion was made by Supervisor Mikulaco, seconded by Supervisor Briggs directing the following:
1) Each Supervisor will appoint one member and an alternate from each Supervisorial District; and
2) A single report will be presented to the Board from the Committee allowing for the option of placing an item on the November ballot.
At this time, several Supervisors are reviewing candidates to fill vacant seats on the committee. Once those candidates have been named, the Clerk of the Board will return to finalize the appointments and work with CAO Staff on next steps as provided in the Board's direction on February 11.
