Background
On August 9, 2011, the Board approved Agreement No. 001E-A-11/12-BOS (#132-S1211) with Bryan A. Stirrat & Associates, Inc. (BAS) in the amount of $300,000 for a term of three (3) years for general engineering services associated primarily with the Union Mine Disposal Site.

On May 20, 2011, BAS was acquired by and merged with and into Tetra Tech, BAS Inc., dba Bryan A. Stirrat & Associates, Inc., and assumed all work, duties, responsibilities and obligations of Bryan A. Stirrat & Associates, Inc.  BAS slowly transitioned the formal name change over the course of several years.
Reason for Recommendation
The purpose of this first amendment to the Agreement is to execute a name change only.  All other terms and conditions of the Agreement will remain unchanged.  Executing this Amendment and maintaining this Agreement will allow for Tetra Tech BAS, Inc., dba Bryan A. Stirrat & Associates, Inc., to continue providing general engineering services to the County for the remainder of the contract term.
