Title
Health and Human Services Agency, Mental Health Division, recommending the Board consider the following:
1) Approve and authorize Chair to sign Agreement for Services 582-S1411 with El Dorado County Office of Education for the provision of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Model Programs at schools within the County of El Dorado, with a term commencing upon execution to June 30, 2016 in an amount not to exceed $392,500; and
2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute further documents relating to Agreement for Services 582-S1411, including amendments which do not affect the maximum dollar amount or the term of the Agreement, and contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management.
FUNDING: Mental Health Services Act.

There is no change to net County cost associated with this agenda item. Sufficient appropriations have been included in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 adopted budget and will be included in future budgets for the term of the Agreement. If changes in funding occur in future FYs, the amount of the Agreement will be adjusted appropriately.
Background
On December 10, 2013, the Board adopted and authorized implementation of the FY 2013-14 Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Plan (File ID 13-1512). Included in the approved FY 2013-14 MHSA Plan are the “Youth and Children's Services" program under the Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) component, which includes the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Model Programs (Program) at all schools within the County.
