Background
The "Pleasant Valley 4th of July Parade" is an annual event sponsored by the Pleasant Valley Grange #675.  Requested road closures are for the safety of the parade participants, children, volunteers, and spectators along the course.
Reason for Recommendation
The Transportation Division is recommending Board approval of the road closure to provide for the safety of participants, volunteers and spectators along the course, and to enhance the success of this community event.  Other involved agencies have made no objection to this closure.
Clerk of the Board Follow Up Actions
1)  The Clerk will obtain the Chair's signature on the Resolution.
2)  The Clerk will send an executed copy of the Resolution to the Transportation Division.
