Approval of this recommendation will not impact Net County Cost. This expense is included in the Sheriff's Office annual operating budgets.
Background
For several years, the Sheriff's Office has been contracting with Placer County DA's Office to provide trained sexual assault response services. Both agencies wish to continue this relationship with an MOU to establish the terms and conditions of the services to be provided by Placer County.
Reason for Recommendation
Approval of this recommendation will allow the Sheriff's Office to continue with its contract with Placer County DA's Office for a sexual assault response services.
Clerk of the Board Follow Up Actions
The Clerk of the Board will return the two signed original MOUs to the Sheriff's Office for forwarding to Placer County.
