Health and Human Services Agency, Social Services Division, recommending the Board consider the following:
Adopt Resolution 101-2014, relative to Agreement for Services 08-6045, which enables the County of El Dorado to continue to receive reimbursement from the State of California for General Assistance payments provided to individuals who are subsequently determined to be eligible for Supplemental Security Income/ State Supplementary Payment benefits, and authorizes the Health and Human Services Agency Director, successor, or designee to execute further documents relating to Agreement 08-6045. This Resolution also corrects a typographical error regarding an incorrect Agreement end term date and supersedes Resolution 094-2009 previously adopted on May 12, 2009, Item 11.
FUNDING: Federal Social Security Administration Reimbursement Revenues.

Fiscal Impact/Change To Net County Cost
There is no change to the Net County Cost associated with this agenda item. Revenues are budgeted annually under Miscellaneous Revenues to accommodate receipt of Interim Assistance reimbursements.
Background
In order to meet the basic needs of individuals residing in the County and pursuant to El Dorado County Ordinance Chapter 2.63 relative to General Relief Regulations, Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) administers the County’s General Assistance (GA) Program. GA applicants who are not employable must apply for any benefits for which they may be eligible, including, but not limited to benefits under Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and State Supplementary Payment (SSP). Pursuant to Section 1631(g) of the Social Security Act, the County, as Interim Assistance Agency for El Dorado County, may receive reimbursement for GA provided during any time period for which the applicant is subsequently determined eligible to receive SSI or SSP.
