This Budget Transfer will increase State budgeted revenue by $4,247 and appropriations by $4,247 in the Veteran Affairs budget (Department 51). There is no impact to Net County Cost.
Reason for Recommendation
Veteran Affairs has received more State revenue than was budgeted in the FY 2013-14 budget. The extra revenue will be used to cover the budget for health insurance due to employees selecting increased health insurance benefits compared to what was budgeted in the FY 2013-14 budget.
