Title: Elections Department recommending the Board consider the following: 1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 108-2014 to place measure on the ballot entitled: "An Initiative Measure to Amend the El Dorado County General Plan Regarding Traffic And Land Use Policies" to be submitted to the voters at the Consolidated General Election to be conducted on November 4, 2014, in accordance with Elections Code section 9118(b); and 2) Establish the ballot question for this measure. There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
 
Reason for Recommendation
Pursuant to Election Code section 9115(f) the Recorder-Clerk-Registrar of Voters certified the results of an initiative entitled: "An Initiative Measure to Amend the El Dorado County General Plan Regarding Traffic And Land Use Policies". The Board ordered the initiative measure to be placed on the November 4, 2014 election. This resolution repeats that order plus establishes the language for the ballot question.
