Background
The public utility and drainage easements, as shown on Lot 3 of "VILLAGE "I", LOT C", recorded at Book I of Subdivisions at Page 79 was offered to the County of El Dorado by, Parker Development Company, on August 8, 2000. The easements were accepted by the County of El Dorado on October 25, 2000 and the Subdivision Map recorded on October 26, 2000.
 
On June 6, 2001 a processed Boundary Line Adjustment was recorded adjusting the boundaries of said Lot 3 while perpetuating the concerned easements and creating Parcel 3 as shown on Book 47 of Parcel Maps at Page 120, in the County of El Dorado, further identified as APN 123-201-19.
 
Reason for Recommendation:
A request has been submitted by, Ronald Jack McNabb and Joann Carroll McNabb Trustees of Ronald Jack McNabb and Joann Carroll McNabb 1987 Trust U/A/D August 21, 1987, owners of APN 123-201-19, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate the portion of the above described public utility and drainage easements located on Parcel 3 of Parcel Maps Book 47, Page 120, which were established on subdivision, Village "I", Lot C, recorded in Subdivision, Book I, Page 79. Said easements are more particularly described in Exhibit A, and depicted on Exhibit B of attached Resolution.
 
AT&T, Comcast, El Dorado Irrigation District and Pacific Gas & Electric have not used said easements for the purpose for which they were dedicated and find no present or future need exists for those portions of the easement and do not object to their vacation, and have all issued letters to this effect.
 
El Dorado County Transportation Division has not used said easements for the purpose for which they were dedicated and finds no present or future need exists for said easements and does not object to their vacation, and to that end, has provided written approval to the County Surveyor's Office. The County Surveyor's Office has reviewed the request, and recommends the Board approve and adopt the Resolution of Vacation terminating and abandoning the described public utility and drainage easements.
 
Following approval, The Surveyor's Office will coordinate with the applicant's Professional Land Surveyor or Registered Civil Engineer licensed to practice surveying, to have Certificates of Correction Modification or Amendment recorded on Subdivisions Book I, Page 79, and  Parcel Maps, Book 47, Page 120.
 
Clerk of the Board action(s) to be taken following Board approval
1) Clerk of the Board to obtain the Chair's signature on the Resolution.
2) Clerk of the Board to record the Resolution and attached Exhibits.
3) Clerk of the Board to return a copy of the recorded Resolution and attached Exhibits to the Surveyor's Office for further processing.
