Background
The 2014 Cameron Park annual "Santa Run" event is being sponsored by the Cameron Park Community Services District and will occur on December 6, 2014 between 8:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. This is a 5K charity fun run which starts and finishes at the Community Services District office, located at 2502 Country Club Drive.  The sponsor has requested the road closures listed below:
 
-Country Club Drive between Bass Lake Road and Knollwood Drive;
-Merrychase Drive between Greenwood Lane and Country Club Drive;
-Knollwood Drive between Country Club Drive and Greenwood Lane; and
-Greenwood Lane between Knollwood Drive and Merrychase Drive in Cameron Park.
 
Reason for Recommendation
The Transportation Division is recommending Board approval of the road closures to allow for the safety of participants and success of this community event.  Other involved agencies have made no objections to these closures.
 
Clerk of the Board Follow Up Actions
1. The Clerk will obtain the Chair's signature on the Resolution.
2. The Clerk will send a fully executed copy of the Resolution to the Transportation Division.
