Auditor-Controller recommending the Board receive and file the field review of the El Dorado County Cost Allocation Plan prepared by the State Controller's Office for Fiscal Year 2009-2010; and, direct the Chief Administrative Office in partnership with the Auditor-Controller to monitor the implementation of the corrective action to the findings disclosed in the report.

Reason for Recommendation: The countywide cost allocation plan must be approved each year by the State Controller's Office before indirect costs can be charged to Federal and State funded programs. The Controller's Office can disallow indirect costs charged to those programs where those costs are not in compliance with their acceptable audit standards.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Board of Supervisors receive and file the report.
