Reason for Recommendation: The countywide cost allocation plan must be approved each year by the State Controller's Office before indirect costs can be charged to Federal and State funded programs.  The Controller's Office can disallow indirect costs charged to those programs where those costs are not in compliance with their acceptable audit standards.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  The Board of Supervisors receive and file the report.
