Health and Human Services Agency, recommending the Board consider the following:
1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Amendment I to Agreement 631-S1411 with Goodell, Porter, Sanchez & Bright, LLP, in an amount not to exceed $155,000, extending the term for the period beginning April 16, 2014 through June 30, 2017, for the provision of financial audit services for the County of El Dorado Emergency Medical Services Agency; and
2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute further documents relating to Agreement for Services 631-S1411, including amendments which do not increase the maximum dollar amount or term of the Agreement, and contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management.

Background
On June 24, 2014, the original Agreement 631-S1411 was approved by the Board of Supervisors for the provision of auditing services for the County of El Dorado Emergency Medical Services Agency. Goodell, Porter, Sanchez & Bright, LLP was previously selected through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process facilitated by the County Auditor-Controller, and Procurement and Contracts.
Pursuant to Agreement 200-S0811 with El Dorado County Emergency Services Authority (JPA) and Agreement 164-S1211 with California Tahoe Emergency Services Operations Authority (CAL TAHOE), the County has a contractual responsibility for conducting/obtaining annual audits of their books and records.
