Community Development Agency, Long Range Planning Division, recommending the Board consider the following:
1) Accept and approve Amendment 1 to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) Grant Contract No. 13C00083 amending the Scope of Work, Exhibit A and extending the Term of said Contract to June 30, 2015; and
2) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign Amendment 1 to the TRPA Grant Contract and submit three (3) original Grant Documents in an amount not to exceed $25,000 for the County to receive revenue to offset County staff time work on the Meyers Area Plan.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost
The County will receive grant funding from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) in an amount not to exceed $25,000 to help fund County staff participation in the development and adoption of the Meyers Area Plan. There is no Net County Cost associated with this grant.
Background
The County, in coordination with the TRPA under their newly adopted Regional Plan, is updating the existing Meyers Community Plan - now called the Meyers Area Plan (MAP). This grant will help fund County staff participation in the continued development and adoption of the MAP. County staff will review, administer and process the MAP as required by State law and County regulations.
No cash or in-kind match is required for the grant.

Clerk of the Board Follow Up Actions
1) Clerk of the Board staff to obtain Chair's signature on three (3) originals of Amendment 1 to Grant Agreement 13C0083 with the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency.

1) Community Development Agency, Long Range Planning will forward three (3) originals of Amendment to the Grant Document to the TRPA for signature.
2) Community Development Agency, Long Range Planning will forward one (1) fully executed original to the Clerk of the Board for its files.
