DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS:
The County Surveyor's Office has reviewed the request, and recommends the Board approve and adopt the Resolution of Vacation terminating and abandoning the described drainage, slope and public utility easements .

DISCUSSION BACKGROUND:
A request has been submitted by, Eric Schnetz, owner of APN 120-650-27, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate drainage, slope and public utility easements located on the subject property. Said easements are more particularly described in Exhibit A, and depicted on Exhibit B of attached Resolution.

The drainage, slope and public utility easements , as shown on Lot 27 of "RIDGEWAY WEST UNIT NO. 2", recorded at Book J of Subdivisions at Page 6 were offered to the County of El Dorado by, Ridgeview West, L.L.C., a California Limited Liability Company , on September 12, 2002. On June 10, 2003, the slope and public utility easements were accepted by the County of El Dorado and the drainage easements were rejected. The Subdivision Map recorded on June 11, 2003.

ALTERNATIVES: N/A

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
AT&T, Comcast, El Dorado Irrigation District and Pacific Gas & Electric have not used said easements for the purpose for which they were dedicated and find no present or future need exists for those portions of the easements and do not object to their vacation, and to that end, have all issued letters to this effect.

The Community Development Agency, Transportation Division has not used said easements for the purpose for which they were dedicate...
