1) Award Bid No. 15-760-067 for the purchase of One (1) Highway Paint Striper to the sole qualified bidder, Western Truck Center of West Sacramento, CA.; and
2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to issue a purchase order in the amount of $431,115 (plus all taxes and fees, estimated not to exceed $32,500) for a one time purchase following Board approval.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
At the request of Community Development Agency - Transportation Division, the Procurement and Contracts division issued an Invitation to Bid for one (1) Highway Paint Striper to replace equipment that is twenty years old and requires excessive and costly repairs. Forty-five (45) invitations to bid were mailed, two (2) to local vendors, two qualified responses were received from the same vendor, none from local vendors. Western Truck Center of West Sacramento, CA. is the sole qualified bidder.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Procurement and Contracts has been advised that funding is available within the Community Development Agency - Transportation Division's budget.
