Supervisors Ranalli and Veerkamp recommending the Board approve and ratify the Chair's signature on a letter which supports alternative four in the Project Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the King Fire, which would increase treatments in strategic locations to establish and maintain a reduced fuel load for future suppression, change fire behavior, and improve management of natural and prescribed fires. This is the second letter of support for alternative four. It is necessary due to the Forest Service opening up another comment period on the Project Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the King Fire.
