Community Development Agency, Transportation Division, recommending the Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign the retroactive Agreement CTA 15 007 and Contractor Certification CCC-307 with the California Tahoe Conservancy for the term July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 to allow for $6,091 be allocated to Transportation Division soil erosion control projects in the South Lake Tahoe region.

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Pursuant to Government Code Section 66908.3, the California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) is authorized to lease acquired lands. When such lands are within El Dorado County (County) and are leased to private individuals or groups, the CTC must transfer twenty-five percent of the gross income of the leases to the County each year. Pursuant to the Budget Act of 2015, Chapter 10/15, the California State Legislature has appropriated $6,091 to the CTC for transfer to the County as private lease revenue for this fiscal year. At least fifty percent of this amount is to be used for soil erosion control projects in the South Lake Tahoe region, as defined in Section 66905.5 of the Government Code. The Transportation Division (Transportation) will allocate the entire $6,091 to soil erosion control projects.

The Agreement requires that the County sign the Contractor Certification CCC-307 regarding non-discrimination, drug-free workplace requirements, and other provisions for which certification is required when doing business with the State of California. The County's current practices ar...
