DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION

The Community Development Agency, Transportation Division is recommending Board approval of the proposed Resolution for the safety and success of this community event.  No involved agencies objected to this closure.

 

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

The “Georgetown Founder’s Day Event” is an annual craft, food, parade and music fair, sponsored by the Georgetown Divide Rotary Club.  Requested road closures are for the safety of the participants, volunteers and spectators during the fair.

2. The Clerk of the Board to send an executed copy of the Resolution to the Transportation Division.
