The Registrar of Voters recommends the Board recognizes September 22, 2015 as National Voter Registration Day, with a goal to generate interest in the community of potential voters and encourage very voter to cast their ballot on Election Day.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Americans will celebrate National Voter Registration Day, September 22, 2015. Many Americans miss the opportunity to vote because they are not registered by the deadline. October 19, 2015, is the deadline to register for the Consolidated Districts Election to be held on November 3, 2015. Encourage your neighbors and friends to register to vote and participate in the democratic process.
