DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION

The Transportation Division is recommending Board approval of the road closures to provide for the safety of participants, volunteers and spectators along the course, and to assist in the success of this community event.  Other involved agencies have made no objections to this closure.

 

DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND

The 36th Annual “Apple Hill Harvest Run” Event is sponsored by the Camino School Parents' Club and the Apple Hill Growers' Association.  This event will help raise money for Camino School and will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015, between 8:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. The run will start and finish at the Para Vi Winery and will affect portions of Carson Rd, North Canyon Rd., Larsen Dr., and Cable Rd. Traffic utilizing other intersecting roads may experience delays during the event.

2. The Clerk will send an executed copy of the Resolution to the Transportation Division.
