In January of each year, various appointments for the State and County Committees and Commissions are placed on the Board's agenda for their consideration.
DISCUSSION / BACKGROUND
Action Item 2
Over the years, Board members have represented the county to discuss topics of mutual interest with the City of Placerville, City of South Lake Tahoe and the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians. These areas of interest have not been included in the annual review of appointments by the Board and staff is seeking direction to ensure a consistent process for representation is applied going forward.

The Intergovernmental Management Group was established by the Board on July 10, 2001 (Item 54). The office of the Clerk of the Board has been unable to verify whether this group has met with any consistency over the years.
