DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS:

Surveyor's Office recommending the Board adopt a Resolution of Vacation for Abandonment of Easement 15-011 (AOE 15-011) to abandon a public utility easement on Lot 99 of "EASTWOOD PARK UNIT 2," recorded at Book H of Subdivisions at Page 127, identified as Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 070-362-09, requested by the Mathew Tecumshe Hinkle and Susanna Hyong Yu Revocable Trust.

 

DISCUSSION BACKGROUND:

A request has been submitted by, the Mathew Tecumshe Hinkle and Susanna Hyong Yu Revocable Trust, owners of APN 070-362-09, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate the public utility easement located on the subject property. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit A, and depicted on Exhibit B of attached Resolution.

 

The public utility easement, as shown on Lot 99 of "EASTWOOD PARK UNIT 2", recorded at Book H of Subdivisions at Page 127 was offered to the County of El Dorado by, COKER-EWING COMPANY LP, A CALIFORNIA LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, on April 22, 1997. The easement was accepted by the County of El Dorado on May 20, 1997 and the Subdivision Map recorded on May 21, 1997.

Chief Administrative Office recommends moving staffs recommendations.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.

 

CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS:

1) Clerk to obtain the Chair's signature on one (1) original of the Resolution.

2) Clerk to record the Resolution and attached Exhibits.

3) Clerk to return a copy of the recorded Resolution and attached Exhibits to the Surveyor's Office for further processing.

 

DEPARTMENT FOLLOW UP ACTIONS:

Surveyor's Office will coordinate with the applicant's Professional Land Surveyor or Registered Civil Engineer licensed to practice surveying, to have the Certificate of Correction Modification or Amendment recorded on Book H of Subdivisions at Page 127.
