DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS:
Surveyor's Office recommending the Board adopt a Resolution of Vacation for Abandonment of Easement 15-006 (AOE 15-006) to abandon a drainage easement on Lot 12 of "PINE FOREST ACRES," recorded at Book E of Subdivisions at Page 88, identified as Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 060-611-12, requested by Joshua A. Whitlock.
DISCUSSION BACKGROUND:
A request has been submitted by, Joshua A. Whitlock, owner of APN 060-611-12, requesting that the County of El Dorado, Board of Supervisors, vacate a drainage easement located on the subject property. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit A, and depicted on Exhibit B of attached Resolution.
The drainage easement, as shown on Lot 12 of "PINE FOREST ACRES", recorded at Book E of Subdivisions at Page 88 was offered to the County of El Dorado by, EDWARD SIMONS, on August 3, 1970. The easement was accepted by the County of El Dorado on March 23, 1971 and the Subdivision Map recorded on March 25, 1971.

OTHER DEPARTMENT / AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
The Community Development Agency, Transportation Division has not used said easement for the purpose for it was dedicated and finds no present or future need exists for this easement and does not object to its vacation, and to that end, has provided written approval to the County Surveyor’s Office;
CAO RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt the Resolution of Vacation for Abandonment of Easement 15-006.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
CLERK OF THE BOARD FOLLOW UP ACTIONS:
1) Clerk of the Board to obtain the Chair's signature on the Resolution.
2) Clerk of the Board to record the Resolution and attached Exhibits.
3) Clerk of the Board to return a copy of the recorded Resolution and attached Exhibits to the Surveyor's Office for further processing.
4) Surveyor's Office will coordinate with the applicant's Professional Land Surveyor or Registered Civil Engineer licensed to practice surveying, to have the Certificate of Correction Modification or Amendment recorded on Book E of Subdivisions at Page 88.
