Transportation Department requesting authorization to file an application for funding through the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District Heavy-Duty Low Emission Vehicle Incentive Program and for AB2766 Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) surcharge funds through the El Dorado County Air Quality Management District for replacement of older engines with newer lower emission in on-road diesel fueled snow blowers; and recommending Resolutions (2) authorizing the Director of said Department to execute all grant application documents pertaining to same.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolutions 051-2006 and 052-2006.
FUNDING: Road and Grant Funds.
