Background: California State Association of Counties (CSAC) requests the Board appoint its representative and alternate to the CSAC Board of Directors for the year 2007 prior to the Association's annual conference commencing November 28, 2006. Supervisor Sweeney served as the member representative and Supervisor Baumann is the alternate representative.
Reason for Recommendation: CSAC Constitution provides that members of the Board of Directors and alternates are elected by their respective boards of supervisors to one-year terms of office commencing with the first day of the CSAC annual conference.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Clerk of the Board will notify CSAC of the Board's appointments.
