Background:   County Code 2.03.150 allows county general fund monies to be used upon request of the supervisor-elect for training and orientation; including, the payment of course fees, course materials, travel and per diem expenses.

Due to timing of the election and certification of the vote, it would be appropriate to anticipate participation by the newly elected supervisor of District IV at the annual CSAC conference and to provide funding for his attendance at this event.  Therefore, for purposes of this Code, the attendee for this conference will be determined by the Registrar of Voters by certified count or will be the recipient of the highest vote, providing the count has been completed.
