Title
Transportation Department recommending Resolution summarily vacating (AOE 2006-19)  a public utilities easement located on the rear boundary line of Lot 291 (APN 119-163-04), Bar J Ranch Unit  No. 4, requested by Matthew A. Sigrist and Gwendolyn E. Sigrist to accommodate the installation of a swimming pool on subject lot.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution 421-2006.

Body
Public utilities easements, as shown on Bar-J-Ranch Unit No. 4 final map recorded in Book G of Subdivision Maps at Page 127, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in March of 1989, and accepted by the Board of Supervisors in May of 1989.

An application has been submitted by Matthew A. Sigrist and Gwendolyn E. Sigrist, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate a public utilities easement located on the rear boundary line of Lot 291, identified as Assessor's Parcel Number 119-163-04.  Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and depicted in Exhibit "B" of the attached Resolution.

The subject property is located on Alcadar Court, east of Bass Lake Road and north of Country Club Drive, in Cameron Park. Said action is necessary to accommodate planned construction of improvements on the subject lot.

All utility companies that could be impacted by this vacation have provided the Department of Transportation with written notification that they have no facilities within the subject areas and have no objection to the proposed abandonment.  All other existing easements will remain.  The Department of Transportation's staff has reviewed the request and has no objection.
