There is no Fiscal Impact associated with this item. There is no cost to the County General Fund.
Reason for Recommendation:
The Transportation Department (Department) is in the process of bidding the Sawmill 1A Bike Path Project and plans to plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain a Class I bike path for public use.
The Department plans to perform revegetation, restoration work, and to construct and operate a Class I bike path on seven (7) CTC parcels (APNs 033-592-03, 033-601-04, 033-603-01, 033-603-02, 033-603-03, 033-603-06 and 034-392-05). Exhibit A describes APN 033-592-03, Exhibit B-1 describes APNs 033-601-04,033-603-01, 033-603-02,033-603-03 and 033-603-06, and Exhibit B-2 describes APN 034-392-05 and the proposed improvements for each parcel. Exhibit A is a map for the APNs and proposed improvements.
The CTC has prepared one (1) License Agreement to grant the County permission to construct, revegetate, restore, operate, and maintain the proposed Class I bike path.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. After the Board Chairman signs the License Agreement, the Board Clerk will complete the All-Purpose Notary Acknowledgement provided.
2. The Board Clerk will send the License Agreement and the All-Purpose Notary Acknowledgement to the Department for processing to the CTC for signature.
