Background:
On March 21, 2006 (item #17) the Board awarded Request for Proposal #06-918-030 for Title III Federal Forest Reserve Funds for Fire Prevention and County Planning to various organizations and authorized the Chair to execute agreements with the awarded organizations.  The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) was one of these organizations and was awarded $13,969 for the development of a Fire-resistant Plant Guide and associated workshops.  The Title III funding was inadvertently omitted from UCCE's FY 2006-07 budget.  The attached budget transfer appropriates Title III funding pursuant to UCCE's proposal for use in FY 2006-07.

Reason for Recommendation:
The transfer will appropriate funds approved by the Board in March 2006 for expenditure in FY 2006-07 for the Tilte III funds awarded to UCCE.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
Auditor-Controller will post the transfer.
