Chief Administrative Office, Procurement and Contracts Division, presenting list of property for donation to the El Dorado County Fairgrounds for use by its maintenance department and recommending the Board so declare and authorize donation of same in accordance with the procedures outlined in the County's Purchasing Ordinance, Chapter 3.12.

Reason for Recommendation: The Child Support Services Department would like to donate two (2) Dell SX-260 computers, previously declared surplus by your Board on January 9, 2007, Item #45, to the El Dorado County Fair Grounds for use by their Maintenance Department to replace existing outdated computers. The computers will be used for project management and tracking, customer appointments, and invoice tracking. The Purchasing Agent will donate said property in accordance with the Purchasing Ordinance as noted in Section 3.12.220 thereof.
Fiscal Impact: None.
Action to be taken following approval: Upon approval of the recommendation, the Purchasing Agent will initiate the surplus property donation agreement with El Dorado County Fair Grounds for the donation of said property.
