Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
The IT department will receive up to $1,800.00 in additional revenue from LAFCO through this agreement in FY 06/07. This additional revenue is shown as a reduction to Net County Cost.


Background:
On August 7,2006, El Dorado LAFCO announced that they were currently accepting Request for Proposals from qualified firms to conduct IT Services. The services include Web Programming, PC Support, Printer Repair, and Network Support.

El Dorado County IT has provided these services in the past for LAFCO. Because of the County's familiarity of LAFCO's environment, El Dorado County I.T. submitted a Proposal on September 8, 2006 to provided these services.

On December 5 ,2006 LAFCO notified I.T. that we had been selected as a result of an open bid process conducted by LAFCO.

Action to be taken following Board approval:
Chairman to sign Budget Transfer
Information Technologies to submit Budget Transfer for processing
Director of Information Technologies to sign agreement with LAFCO
Information Technologies to send Original agreement to LAFCO with letter to proceed.
Information Technologies to send Original agreement to BOS for file.
