Background:
Reason for Recommendation: The purpose of the Committee is make recommendations on the operation and maintenance of the zone. Individuals are appointed by the Board to serve on the Georgetown Cemetery Zone of Benefit Advisory Committee. A notice of vacancy was posted as required. The individuals identified have volunteered to serve in this capacity however, one vacancy remains open. Staff recommends that the Board appoint these individuals to serve on the Georgetown Cemetery Zone Advisory Comittee for the term of one year commencing upon Board approval.
Action to be taken following Board approval: General Services staff will notify the individuals of their appointment by the Board to serve on the committee. An informational packet on Brown Act Requirements will be provided to each committee member.
