Reason for Recommendation: Steven Bonak, dba Placerville Aviation, is a fixed base operator at the Placerville Airport. Placerville Aviation is in the final construction phase of a new building at the airport. Prior to receiving a certificate of occupancy for the building from the City of Placerville, an additional fire hydrant is required. The hydrant will require the extension of approximately 80 lineal feet of an 8 inch diameter waterline together with a service connection, herein after referred to as utility improvements. All costs associated with the building and utility improvements are the responsibility of Placerville Avaition.
The utility improvements are subject to the review and approval of the El Dorado Irrigation District. Prior to making these improvements the District requires that the property owner, the County, enter into an Extension of Facilities Agreement with the District, as well as, the granting of an easement for the installation, construction and maintenance of the utility improvements.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Board Clerk to forward to General Services the signed Facilities Agreement and Grant of Easement for distribution to El Dorado Irrigation District.
