Body
The owner of APN 094-050-29 has applied for housing rehabilitation assistance through the Department of Human Services.  It was the homeowner's original intent to obtain financial assistance to repair her home.  Per the requirements of the housing rehabilitation assistance program, the homeowner obtained three bids from separate contractors for the repairs for her home.  Contractors determined that the home was in such disrepair that the existing structure does not have the integrity to make repairs feasible and that demolition and replacement would be necessary.

The owner is now seeking to replace the existing structure with a modular home of equal or less square footage.  The Department of Human Services is using both HOME Investments Partnership Program funds and Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG) to fund the demolition and replacement costs.  Total construction costs amount to approximately $218,000 which includes permit fees of approximately $3,613.29  Total construction and permit fee costs exceed the program abilities by approximately $3,613.29.
