Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Department of Child Support Services has advised General Services that funds are available within their FY 2006/07 budget. (Non General Fund)
 
Background: County of El Dorado has leased this space since December 10, 1996.
 
Reason for Recommendation:
The current facility lease agreement expires on March 31, 2007. The Department of Child Support Services has expressed its desire to continue occupancy of this facility and a new lease was negotiated. The lease will commence on April 1, 2007 and end on March 31, 2012 with options for three (3) additional one (1) year terms. The lease amount is $13,144.25 per month and the cost per square foot is $1.45.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval: Board clerk will forward to General Services Department a fully executed original copy of the Lease Agreement 617-L0711 for distribution and administration.
