Background: The Homeland Security Grant's County Approval Authority has allocated $40,000 in reimbursement to the City of South Lake Tahoe from FY 2006 Homeland Security Grant funds for purchase of a building security system, communication equipment for the Emergency Operations Center, and further equipment for the City's Mobile Command Vehicle.  The City Council of the City of South Lake Tahoe approved this Agreement on February 20, 2007.
 
Reason for Recommendation: The City of South Lake Tahoe is one of the participating sub-grantees in the Homeland Security Grant program
 
Action to be taken following Board approval: The City of South Lake Tahoe will invoice the County for costs up to $40,000.
