Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:The total additional funding for this amendment is $70,000. There is no change to Net County Cost.
 
Background:Sierra Child & Family Services provides specialty mental health services for children on an "as requested" basis for the Mental Health Department.
 
Reason for Recommendation:This amendment is needed to allow Sierra Child & Family Services to provide additional services for the SB163 WRAP program and the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) WRAP program on the West Slope. WRAP programs are designed to prevent out of home placement for emotionally disturbed youth. The amendment also raises the not to exceed amount of the contract by $70,000 to reflect expected payments for the additional services to be provided.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:Board Clerk's Office will forward the executed amendment to Mental Health for further processing.
