Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. There is no cost to the County General Fund.

Reason for Recommendation:
On March 13, 2007, the Board approved Agreement for Services # AGMT 06-1240 with Kleinfelder, Inc. in the amount of $500,000. The purpose of this Amendment is to reflect the corporate name change because on April 1, 2007, Kleinfelder, Inc. changed its name to Kleinfelder West, Inc. In addition, the Department is amending Article I, Scope of Services, to revise the requirements for Task Orders to conform to the most recently approved Task Order language and to include language that will allow individual Task Orders to incorporate any required contract provisions associated with unanticipated grant funding; Article XVII, Notice to Parties, to update Consultant's corporate name for notices, and, Article XXX, Business License, to include County's business license requirements.

The Department requests the Board make findings pursuant to Article II, Section 210 b (6) of the El Dorado County Charter that there are specialty skills required for the work performed under these Agreements that are not expressly identified in County classifications....
